Its Day 2, we are back at Bkt Beruntung at 11pm last night. Showered & slept. We were knackered !
Woke up at 6am, and had to fix up some items that didn't work in the van on Day 1. The oil temp gauge sender wire came off which was an easy fix. I had to fix in a cigarette lighter assembly so that iPod & phones could be charged along way. With these tasks done in record time, we loaded up the van with some gear that we missed out the day before.
Had breakfast & hit the highway at about 9am. We drove to Slim River exit and entered Route 1 from the highway. The roads were congested with Raya revellers, so we made to Ipoh & decided to hit the highway again.
With the weather being hot, we had to drive at 60Km/h all the way to Bukit Kayu Hitam to maintain the engine temp.
